Spring Chinook Salmon

Spring chinook enter freshwater as the weather first starts to warm in March. Exceptional table fare and first rate fighters, these are the fish we dream about all winter.
We fish the Columbia between St. Helens and Westport, and the Willamette between Portland, and St. Helens, OR.
Summer Steelhead
June 15 - July 31
Columbia River
Covered in sea lice and traveling in packs, these aren’t your normal summers. If you haven’t experienced a hot July steelhead cartwheeling away from you on the biggest river in the west as you and your drag both scream… Well, you owe it to yourself to give it a shot.

Fall Chinook and coho salmon
August 1 - October 15th
Columbia Estuary at Astoria, and the Columbia river from Portland to Rainier.
From Buoy 10 in Astoria all the way up to Portland, we intercept chrome bright chinook and coho as they start their fall migration . This is the time of year for big numbers of fish and pleasant late-summer weather. These trips fill up quickly, for good reason.
We will be in Astoria, OR from August 1- September 10th, then in the Portland area until mid-October
